I am a Data Scientist with a PhD in Information Systems and Computer Engineering. My passion is to make discoveries and extract hidden knowledge from big (or not so big) amounts of data. I am an independent consultant so feel free to contact me for any challenge or problem you might have.

Currently working at Sony.
I worked for many years as an academic researcher in the field of Bioinformatics. I had the opportunity to work with biological data, extracting knowledge and developing new methods. In the last few years I have been working in the industry, at Sony in Brussels. The data science challenges are big both in academy and industry and I love to have a good problem to solve.

Besides Sony, my current client, IPATIMUP, I3S, INESC-ID Lisboa, Instituto Superior Tecnico, Novabase and Ponteiro Magico were the institutions that I had the pleasure to work for.
